The primary objective of an analogue site survey is to define any potential hazard to the Drilling Unit emplacement or to the future operations on the well site. This includes detection of seafloor obstructions, seabed morphology, bathymetry, shallow stratigraphy, seabed soil conditions. The survey involves the acquisition of: DGPS, MBES, SSS, SBP, Sparker or MiniGun, Magnetometer, Seabed soil sampling.
